Location

You will find us in Beadnell Station Road car park at the north end of Beadnell Bay. Our storage is in the facilities block but you will collect equipment from KA Adventure Sports who are also based in the car park. You will spot their containers and friendly faces! Generally equipment at this site needs to be booked in advance.

This is pay & display parking but free to blue badge holders.

Access to the beach

There is ramp access directly from the car park onto the beach. While the beach shelves slightly towards the sea it is relatively flat and sandy for the full length of it.

When the tide is high there can be very little beach to make use of, so it’s always advisable to check the tides before you come. You can do this using The Beach Guide website Opens in a new window.

Facilities

In main season Bait at Beadnell serve beach café style food from a food truck. There are a number places locally serving food and drinks including the Saltwater Café and Beadnell Towers, which also has ground floor bed rooms available.

Public toilet facilities are available at the entrance of the car park. There is one disabled toilet.

Dogs

Dogs are welcomed on the beach all year round but some restrictions may apply during bird breeding season where dogs must be kept on a lead. For detailed information you can check check Northumberland County Council Website Opens in a new window.

About the area

The beautiful Beadnell Bay beach stretches in a horse shoe shape for 2 miles. It is a sandy beach with dunes behind. It is widely used for a variety of water sports.
