Newbiggin-by-the-Sea North Beach

"You should have seen her little face when she watched the tide coming in. Can’t tell you what it means to be able to get her down on the beach again"

Location

Newbiggin North Beach on the Northumberland coast stretches down from Hully Rocks and curves around the bay in a south-westerly direction for about 500 metres.

To the east of the bay is a rocky outcrop which can be a good place to go rockpooling at low tide. There is a lifeboat station near the beach, and a Maritime Centre Opens in a new window nearby.

Newbiggin Maritime Centre raised the funds to buy the equipment available and they manage the loan process.
