Volunteering

Volunteering for us …

We need volunteers…… The role of volunteer is simple and enjoyable. Our growing group of volunteers is developing into a small friendly community. We need people to join our Rota either at Blyth, Cullercoats, Tynemouth, Whitley Bay, or South Shields, for times to suit yourself as often as you are available. We plan to have a small presence at all of these venues over the summer months, so we will create a rota. We need people to help with promotion and administration tasks. Spreading the word to people who may need our service. We also need people who are able to help on occasion with maintenance of our equipment. Volunteers are not expected to lift or push. Full training will be given. ALSO we hold social and fundraising events throughout the year. Our Super Santa Sunday Spectacular will be held early December every year with a walk along Tynemouth & Whitley Bay beaches followed by a social event at Forest Hall Club with live music. When it is possible to do so we will be holding THE GREAT NORTH WHEELCHAIR LINE UP in WHITLEY BAY, If you have a wheelchair please get in touch, you don’t have to be disabled.
